Trim Levels (Exterior)
For 2023, car buyers can find the Maserati Grecale in three trim levels. These trims are GT, Modena, and Trofeo. The entry-level GT starts things off with a power liftgate and LED headlights. The Modena trim adds 20-inch wheels and a panoramic sunroof. If you select the top-of-the-line Trofeo trim level you get 21-inch wheels and carbon-fiber accents. In addition to three trim levels, the 2023 Grecale also comes in 10 exterior paint colors. Buyers can select bold and bright shades like Rosso Granturismo - Fuoriserie, Blu Intenso, Blu Nobile, and Giallo Corse - Primaserie launch edition. The neutral colors include Grigio Lava opaco, Grigio Lava, Grigio Cangiante - Fuoriserie, Bianco Astro, Bianco, and Nero Tempesta.
Engine (Power)
The entry-level engine option of the Maserati Grecale is a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-four engine and a mild-hybrid system. When equipped with the GT trim, it generates 296 horsepower and 332 pound-feet of torque, while the same engine in the Modena trim bumps the horsepower up to 325. The mild-hybrid system has a belt starter generator and an e-Booster, which acts before the turbo system kicks in to eliminate lag and offer the smoothest ride possible. If you are looking for more power, you can pick the 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged V-6 engine and get 523 horsepower and 457 pound-feet of torque. Both engines link to a smooth and easy-to-use eight-speed automatic transmission.
Performance
All-wheel drive is standard across the lineup of the Grecale. This setup allows for an increased grip to the surface below, which is ideal for driving on a variety of terrain or at high speeds. Whether you want to off-road with the Grecale or tackle the track, this setup is sure to please. Speaking of speed, the Modena trim can accelerate from zero to 60 mph in just 5 seconds. Upgrading to the Trofeo trim increases this acceleration time to 3.6 seconds.
Interior
The cabin of the 2023 Grecale provides seating for up to five. Those in the second row get 39.1 inches of legroom. Additionally, leather upholstery, split-folding rear seats, and power-adjustable front seats are all standard. The cargo area can accommodate 18.9 to 20.1 cubic feet of cargo space behind the rear seats. Additionally, two infotainment touchscreen sits on the dash. A 12.3-inch and 8.8-inch touchscreen work together to provide drivers with access to features like Amazon Alexa, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, built-in navigation, satellite radio, a 14-speaker stereo system, the "Hey Maserati" virtual assistant, HD Radio, built-in navigation, and more.
Safety Features
A vehicle as bold, fast, and powerful as the 2023 Maserati Grecale also needs to be safe. That is why the SUV comes standard with a rearview camera, front parking sensors, and rear parking sensors. Backing the Grecale into tight spots is a breeze with these features. Forward collision warning with pedestrian detection and forward automatic emergency braking are also standard.
