Trim Levels

The 2018 Quattroporte comes in five different trims: the base S, S Q4, GTS, GranLusso, and GranSport. This sedan looks sleek and sporty, yet stately and elegant. At the front, it features an aggressive-looking grille with 10 chrome vertical bars and the iconic Trident logo, hood with plunging character lines, and stylish adaptive LED headlamps. Its side profile reveals its long wheelbase, spaciousness, and commanding nature, while the quad chrome tailpipes at the rear indicate its exceptional power.

Engine

The S and S Q4 trims are fitted with a 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 engine that delivers 424 hp, while the top-of-the-line GTS features a 3.8-liter twin-turbo V8 engine that churns out 523 hp. The GTS can accelerate from zero to 60 mph in 4.2 seconds and achieve a maximum speed of 182 mph. Both engines are teamed with an eight-speed ZF automatic transmission and RWD. Featuring auto-adaptive software, the advanced transmission system is able to modify its shift patterns to suit your driving style. The Quattroporte's fuel economy ratings are 16/23 mpg (city/highway) for the S and S Q4 models, and 15/22 mpg for the GTS.

Performance

The 2018 Quattroporte is more agile and handles better than most other full-size sedans, partly because of its excellent chassis and new electronic power steering. Its ZF transmission works well with a standard limited-slip differential to ensure good traction even in challenging situations. The sedan also comes with five different drive modes to increase driver involvement. For a better and safer driving experience, you can opt for the S Q4, which has an intelligent AWD system that can analyze driving style, speed, steering angle, power output, yaw angle, and wheel slip, and distribute torque appropriately to suit the situation. This gives the car better grip on a variety of surfaces.

Interior

The Quattroporte features a sumptuous cabin with hand-stitched leather seats, armrests, and upper dashboard, and open-pore Radica wood trim. It comes standard with 12-way power-adjustable and heated front seats, illuminated and climate-controlled center console, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi capabilities, Harman Kardon audio system, and an 8.4-inch infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The GranLusso offers a leather and wood steering wheel, four-zone climate control, heated rear seats, and power foot pedals, while the GranSport has sculpted front seats, leather Sport steering wheel, long aluminum gearshift panels, and stainless steel Sport pedals.

Safety Features

To protect its occupants from collision impact, the 2018 Quattroporte is fitted with five different types of airbags. There are also active safety features available to help you prevent accidents, including forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, highway assist, and rear cross-traffic alert.
