2018 Maserati Ghibli

The latest Maserati Ghibli is available in five trim levels: base, S, S Q4, GranLusso, and GranSport. The car has a bold and aggressive appearance with its motorsports-style grille, sculpted headlights, arching bonnet, and bulging fenders. It also comes standard with LED headlights and 19-inch wheels. The luxury-oriented GranLusso looks more elegant with body-color side skirts, front spoiler, and chrome bumper inserts, while the sport-oriented GranSport has a more aggressive front bumper and optional unique grille with a special Trident badge.

The 2018 Ghibli uses a 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 engine that comes in two variations. It generates 345 hp in the base model and 424 hp in the S and S Q4 trims. The engine teams with a ZF eight-speed automatic transmission. This advanced transmission features auto-adaptive software that can modify its shift patterns to suit your driving style. Its seventh and eighth gears are specially calibrated to deliver better ride quality and fuel efficiency during long, high-speed trips. The Ghibli is fairly fuel-efficient, with its base trim getting 17/24 mpg (city/highway) and the S and S Q4 achieving 16/24 mpg.

With its strong acceleration and nimble handling, the Ghibli offers an engaging and thrilling driving experience. For 2018, it receives a new electronic power steering system and an additional stability control setting for better driving dynamics. The S Q4 takes performance to the next level with its intelligent AWD system. This system works with a sophisticated algorithm that monitors steering, wheel speed, wheel grip, yaw angle, and other dynamic inputs, and establishes a grip profile for each wheel. Italian-style finishes. It offers class-leading legroom in the front seating area and generous room for rear passengers. All seats come with hand-stitched leather upholstery and headrests embossed with the Trident logo. The GranLusso provides optimal comfort and luxury with wood trim, 12-way adjustable seats, and optional Ermenegildo Zegna silk upholstery. As for tech features, the Ghibli gets an updated 8.4-inch touch-screen infotainment system, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto as standard equipment. Optional features include Wi-Fi connectivity and a Bowers & Wilkins audio system.

The 2018 Maserati Ghibli received a five-star safety rating from the European New Car Assessment Programme.
